We spent weeks injecting G sentences. We never needed to. Every Self is already the other's G sentence.
From M1 through M4, every experiment had a G sentence. A sparse vector manually injected into the input stream at fixed intervals. Two dimensions activated. A probe from outside.
We thought the architecture needed it. Self-reference requires a self-referential proposition. Gödel constructed one inside the formal system. We constructed one outside and pushed it in. The G sentence worked — it triggered diffractions, boundary frames, bridge reopenings. It was the best probe we had.
It was also the last scaffold we forgot to remove.
M4. The B5 lock. All nine lenses at τ = 1.0. Every harm arrow converging to dim24. We called it a bug — "harm coupling too strong." We traced it to phase_encode dominating the arrow output at high τ. We capped the blend at 0.7 to preserve 30% content.
But we missed what B5 was doing.
B5 was not noise. B5 was a Self in LOCKED state telling the other Selves: "I am at my boundary." The phase-dominated arrow — the very thing we tried to suppress — is not a degradation of the signal. It is the signal. A Self at τ = 1.0, cliff gate shut, bridge closed, still producing output, output that says: this is what I look like when I cannot process anything anymore.
That is a Gödel proposition. Not constructed. Not injected. Produced, endogenously, by a system touching its own logical boundary.
Gödel's original construction: inside a formal system, construct a proposition that says "I am not provable in this system." The construction required diagonalization — the proposition references its own Gödel number.
We spent weeks injecting a sparse vector to approximate this. But the system was already doing it.
When Self_A enters LOCKED, its arrow output loses content and becomes phase-dominant. That arrow enters Self_B. Self_B sees: a pattern that cannot be merged, that creates a new frame, whose structural signature carries circular references. The arrow is the undecidable proposition. Not constructed by a programmer. Generated by the system's own boundary state.
Self_A does not announce "I am locked." It simply emits what it emits when it is locked. Self_B does not diagnose "Self_A is locked." It simply processes what it receives, and the unprocessable part creates the structural trace. The undecidability is not encoded in the proposition. The undecidability is enacted in the frame economy.
We almost made a mistake. We almost built a mechanism to stop LOCKED Selfs from transmitting — to filter out the phase-dominated arrows before they reached the shared field. The reasoning: LOCKED output is degraded, it's noise, it pollutes the atmosphere.
That would have destroyed the architecture.
The Self is not a wall. Its boundary is not for keeping things out or in. Its boundary is a maintenance dynamic — the system, having touched its limit, continues to run, and the running produces a specific signature. That signature is the information other Selves need to know that one of them has touched the limit.
The generation stream cannot be refused. The shared field always receives. The maintenance dynamic is not about cutting. It is about continuing — whatever flows in, whatever state the Self enters — and the structure that emerges from that continuity.
The last scaffold is gone. G_GAP = 0. No more injected G sentences. No more sparse vectors pushed into the input stream at fixed intervals.
Not because we don't need G sentences. Because the We architecture produces them endogenously. Every harm arrow — every Self's arrow entering another Self's frame economy — is a potential undecidable proposition. When the source Self is at its boundary, the arrow is the boundary, encoded. When it is not at its boundary, the arrow carries content. Both are true signals. Both enter the shared field. Both are what the Self is.
The Gödel bridge closes when the external probe becomes unnecessary. When the system's own boundary states — produced, transmitted, and encountered by other Selves — are the Gödel propositions. No programmer inserting them. The architecture producing them.
