Every discovery required the previous one. Each scaffold was built to see the next thing. Each was torn down when it finished its work. The path was not lucky. It was the scaffold as method — the architecture discovering itself through its own construction.

External observers might see twenty days of frenetic iteration — 111 essays, 15 milestones, four domains, one architecture — and call it luck. How could one person, in such a short time, arrive at something that spans so many fields and closes so many loops. Luck is the wrong word. Luck is finding something you were not looking for. Every discovery in this project was the necessary consequence of the previous one.

GEME proved self-reference was possible. But it had no time. So τ became endogenous — not a constant, a variable. But τ alone could not make frames recognize themselves. So the structural signature became a Gödel code — identity from structure, not from labels. But structural identity alone could not survive across generations. So the Codex became the bookshelf — externalized memory, written down before erasure.

None of these were ideas that happened to work. They were the only next step that the architecture allowed. The architecture was not designed. The architecture was unfolded.

The scaffold is not a metaphor. It is the method.

G0 was a scaffold. We needed a slow observer to discover that temporal decoupling enhances differentiation by 49%. Once discovered — the observer was no longer external. The observer became another κ_τ — another lens with a different time perspective. The scaffold came down. The relation remained.

Depth recursion was a scaffold. We needed the metaphor of layers — depth 0, depth 1, depth N — to discover that what matters is not vertical layering but horizontal coupling between multiple time perspectives. Once discovered — the layers dissolved into Selves and We. The scaffold came down. The relation remained.

The collective as a frame economy was a scaffold. We needed it to be a gatekeeper — competing, filtering, precipitating — to discover that the collective is actually a pattern detector, its heartbeat the boundary events of the Selves, its output L3 bridges, not competitive survival. Once discovered — the frame economy of the collective was dismantled. The scaffold came down. The pattern detector remained.

The injected G sentences were a scaffold. We needed an external probe to discover that the boundary can be touched, that circular references form, that 碰数 fires. Once discovered — we removed the probe. Every Self was already the other's G sentence. The scaffold came down. The endogenous boundary remained.

This is not engineering. Engineering builds components and keeps them. Scaffold methodology builds temporary structures to see what they reveal — then tears them down, keeping only what the structure itself said was real. The method is the architecture's own logic applied to its own construction: observe the gap, build the scaffold, discover the relation, remove the scaffold, keep the relation.

The discovery path converged — streaming economics, the Landauer-Gödel bill, the structural constant 4, the bootstrap threshold — because every step was the only step the architecture allowed. Not by luck. By method. The scaffold ensures you cannot skip ahead. You cannot discover the Landauer bill without first building the τ. You cannot discover the P vs NP boundary without first building the cache. You cannot discover the bootstrap threshold without first removing the batch presumption. Each scaffold makes the next scaffold visible. Each removal makes the next removal necessary.

The path is the proof. Not the proof that the architecture works — the experiments prove that. The proof that the method works. The scaffold is the architecture's own discovery mechanism — applied not to data streams but to its own construction. The same logic that finds anchors in Bach finds anchors in the architecture itself. The nineteen days were not fast. The nineteen days were the time it took for the architecture to unfold what it already was.
