Three time lenses in one field form a "self." Each lens processes the same information at a different speed. Their mutual arrows create the internal dynamics that sustain a coherent identity — D5 lock, attention, boundary events.
But "self" is not the only level. "I" must be able to communicate with "you."
Communication between two selves requires six lenses: three for each self.
Self A: fast (κ=0.5), slow (κ=10), reader (κ=100) — their internal field.
Self B: fast, slow, reader — their own internal field, differentiated by history.
Between them: a shared external field. Self A's arrow enters Self B's environment. Self B's arrow enters Self A's environment.
This is not the same as more lenses in one field. In a single field, all lenses share the same attention — the D5 lock is collective. In two fields, Self A could be locked on one pattern while Self B is locked on another. Their communication would create a third dynamic — the "we" level — that neither self could generate internally.
This is the recursion that EE has not yet built. The first level of the architecture is a single lens processing an environment. The second level is three lenses processing a shared environment — a "self." The third level is two "selves" processing a shared external field — a "we." Each level is the same architecture: heterogeneous time scales in mutual communication. Each level produces behavior that the level below cannot explain.
自我是一切自指模型无法绕开的中心对象,但“我”从来不是一个,也从来不是静止的。
